Earlier today we reported that Micromax is working on a new budget smartphone with model number Q340. Now Micromax Canvas Selfie 2 Q340 is available on online stores for Rs. 5,690.
Canvas Selfie 2 Q340 is the successor to Canvas Selfie A255 which was launched in India earlier this year for Rs. 15,999. The company has now launched its cheaper variant in India.
Micromax Canvas Selfie 2 Q340 features a 5 inch FWVGA (854×480 pixels) IPS Display. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad core MT6582M Processor with 1GB of RAM. For Graphics, it comes with a Mali 400 GPU.
Canvas Selfie 2 Q340 comes with a 5 megapixel rear camera with LED Flash. For selfies, it comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 8GB of on-board which can be expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD Card.
Its connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, Bluetooth, WLAN, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2000 mAh battery which gives 7 hrs of talktime and 180 hrs of standby time.
