Micromax has launched a new smartphone in Canvas series called as Micromax Canvas Tube A118R. The smartphone is launched in India for Rs. 8,599. It is available exclusively on eBay.in.
At the price, the device is very inferior compared to other devices when it comes to specifications. It runs on very old Android Jelly Bean. Even Micromax has better products which are priced lower than Canvas Tube. Earlier this year, The device was launched in Russia and now Micromax has launched it in India.
Micromax Canvas Tube A118r features a 5.5 inch qHD (960×540 pixels) Display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad core BCM23550 processor with 1 GB of RAM.
The device comes with a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2 megapixel front camera. It comes with 4 GB inbuilt storage which can be expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD Card. It is a dual sim (GSM+GSM) device with dual standby support.
The Smartphone is equipped with connectivity options like 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,300 mAh battery which gives 5 hrs of talktime and 150 hrs of standby time on 3G network.
Canvas Tube runs on Android 4.2.2 jelly Bean out of the box.
