Microsoft has launched a new mid range smartphone Lumia series called as Microsoft Lumia 640 at ongoing MWC. The mid level smartphone also comes in LTE variant. Its price starts at 139 Euros.
Microsoft Lumia 640 sports a 5 inch HD(1280×720 pixels) IPS LCD Display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 Processor with 1 GB of RAM.
It comes with a 8.7 megapixel rear camera without flash. It also comes with a 0.9 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 8 GB on-board storage which can be further expanded upto 128 GB using MicroSD Card. Microsoft is also giving free OneDrive storage upto 30 GB.
Its connectivity options include LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, NFC, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,500 mAh battery which provides 12 hours of talktime.
Microsoft Lumia 640 runs on Windows Phone 8.1. It will be upgraded to Windows 10 for mobiles.

Lumia 640 comes in orange, cyan, black, and white colors. Lumia 640 3G is priced at 139 Euros (US$ 155 / Rs. 9,625) while Lumia 640 LTE variant is priced at 159 Euros (US$ 177 / Rs. 11,000). It will go on sale from April.
