Motorola has already sent out media invites for an launch event on 17 May. The company is widely expected to launch Motorola Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus at the launch event.
Motorola has now started teasing the upcoming smartphone on its social media channels. In multiple posts, Motorola confirms several things about Moto G 2016 (G4).
Motorola Moto G 2016 / Moto G 4th Generation launch date:
Moto G4 will be launched on 17 May. The event is happening in India on 17 May so it will be launched on 17 May. It could go on sale from midnight itself. So Moto G 2016 can be purchased from 18 May 2016 midnight.
Motorola Moto G4 Price in India:
Price will be critical for the upcoming Moto G 2016 smartphone. Earlier G smartphone were priced above Rs. 10,000 in India. But now a year after several things have changed. Many Chinese and Indian smartphone brands now offer high end specs in the Rs. 10,000-Rs. 15,000 price bracket.
Motorola Moto G4 price in India could be Rs. 11,000. We expect it to be launched in two variants. The higher end variant could be priced around Rs. 13,000 in India.
Motorola Moto G 2016(G4) Specs:
Motorola Moto G4 will come in bigger screen size of 5.5 inch. There is no confirmation about screen resolution but we expect that it should have Full HD screen. It will have 2GB RAM and its internal memory will be 16GB. The smartphone will come in Metallic frame with plastic back.
Motorola Moto G 4th Generation 2016 will come with fingerprint scanner on the front side. As you can see in the leaked image, everything about the smartphone is detailed.
Motorola Moto G runs on Android 6 Marshmallow out of the box. It will be launched in India on 17 May.
