HMD Global has launched a new budget smartphone in India called Nokia 2. The device has been announced with a price of 99 Euros, however Indian pricing is not announced. It will go on sale in the country from mid-November. It comes with 1GB RAM and offers 2 days of battery life.
Nokia 2 features a 5 inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) 2.5D sculpted display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 Processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. For graphics, it comes with Adreno 304 GPU.
Nokia 2 comes with a 8 Megapixel Autofocus rear camera with LED Flash. For selfies, it comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 8GB on-board storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB using MicroSD Card.
Its connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, 3G, HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth and Micro-USB. It packs a 4,100 mAh battery. It is a splash proof device with IP52 certification.
Nokia 2 runs on Android 7 Nougat which is upgradable to Android 8.0 Oreo. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
