Along with series of other smartphones, HMD Global has also announced a new variant of its flagship smartphone called Nokia 8 Sirocco. The device is also launched under Google Android One platform. The new smartphone comes with 6GB of RAM and slightly curved edges. It also has some design changes like Fingerprint sensor moved to back side and reduced bezels.
Nokia 8 Sirocco sports a 5.5 inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) pOLED Display which is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by a 64 bit 2.45GHz Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Processor with 6GB of RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Adreno 540 GPU.
Nokia 8 Sirocco Android One comes with dual camera setup, it comes with 12 Megapixel primary with 2L7 wide-angle lens and 13 Megapixel secondary with with 3M3 Telephoto lens rear camera with dual tone LED flash. For selfies, it comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera. It comes in 128GB in-built storage, which can be further expanded upto 256GB.
Its connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and USB Type-C. It packs a 3,260 mAh battery with Qi Wireless Charging. It comes with Fingerprint sensor on its back side.
Nokia 8 Sirocco runs on Android 8 Oreo. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support. It is Water and Dust Resistant with IP67 certification.
