HMD Global has launched its flagship smartphone, Nokia 8 Sirocco. The new smartphone also comes under Google Android One Platform on which it will get latest updates faster than other device. Nokia 8 Sirocco is launched in India with a price tag of Rs. 49,999. It will go on sale in India from 30 April via online and offline retail stores.
Nokia 8 Sirocco sports a 5.5 inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) pOLED Display which is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by a 64 bit 2.45GHz Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Processor with 6GB of RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Adreno 540 GPU.
Nokia 8 Sirocco Android One comes with dual camera setup, it comes with 12 Megapixel primary with 2L7 wide-angle lens and 13 Megapixel secondary with with 3M3 Telephoto lens rear camera with dual tone LED flash. For selfies, it comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera. It comes in 128GB in-built storage, which can be further expanded upto 256GB.
Its connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and USB Type-C. It packs a 3,260 mAh battery with Qi Wireless Charging. It comes with Fingerprint sensor on its back side.
Nokia 8 Sirocco runs on Android 8 Oreo. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support. It is Water and Dust Resistant with IP67 certification.
