OnePlus is working on its flagship smartphone to be called OnePlus 3. The smartphone is expected to be launched in coming months. Several leaks about the smartphone have started coming in.
OnePlus 3 has made its entry on several benchmarking websites which reveals key specifications of the device. It is expected to come in two different variants. Both variants will differ in RAM and ROM.
One of the key feature of OnePlus 3 could be Dash Charging. The Chinese company has filed for an trademark application for the word ‘Dash Charge’. It could be another funky name for fast charging. OPPO has its fast charging tech called VOOC Quick charging.
OnePlus 3 will be powered by a Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Processor. It will come in two RAM variants. Higher end OP3 will have 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. While the base variant will have 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.
OnePlus 3 will come with 16 Megapixel rear camera with LED Flash. For selfies, it might come with a 8 Megapixel front camera. It will come with Fingerprint sensor. Its connectivity options will include 4G LTE, NFC, Bluetooth and others. It will run on Android Marshmallow with OxygenOS UI.
OnePlus 3 base variant is expected to be priced at 1,999 RMB (Rs. 20,400). There are no pricing details about the higher end model. The smartphone will be launched in Q2 2016.
