Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus has finally launched its latest flagship smartphone, OnePlus 5. The smartphone has been launched via online event. The device comes with dual camera setup and also comes in 8GB RAM option.
The smartphone is launched with a price tag of $479. OnePlus 5 will go on sale in US and Europe from 21 June, it is up for pre-order from the company website. It runs on high end SD 835 SoC.
OnePlus 5 sports a 5.5 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Optic AMOLED 2.5D Display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by a 64 bit 2.45GHz Octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Processor with 6GB/8GB of RAM. For Graphics it has a Adreno 540 GPU.
OnePlus 5 comes with dual camera setup. It comes with 16 Megapixel Sony IMX398 sensor sensor primary and 20 Megapixel Sony IMX350 sensor secondary rear camera with Dual LED flash. For selfies, It comes with a 16 Megapixel Sony IMX371 sensor front camera. It comes in 64GB/128GB in-built storage options, which cannot be expanded.
Its connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and USB Type-C. It packs a 3,300 mAh battery with Dash Charge. It comes with Fingerprint sensor under home button.
OnePlus 5 runs on Android 7.1 Nougat. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
