Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus started off as Flagship Killer which provided top-end specs at rock bottom price. However with each passing year, the company increases the price of its smartphone and OnePlus has settled itself as premium smartphone brand.

OnePlus has left the Flagship Killer tag way before as OnePlus smartphones now costs equal to Apple iPhone. Now the company is starting a new beginning to get back the flagship killer tag. The company has announced new affordable series of smartphone.

The Chinese company will launch OnePlus Z smartphone in July. The new affordable smartphone would be first launched in India and Europe and later it will be rolled out in North America. We expect the device could be launched around mid-July or at an online event on 2nd July happening in India.

Pete Lau, CEO, OnePlus in a forum post said:

“Today, I’m very excited to announce that we are bringing the premium, flagship experience that you’ve come to expect from OnePlus to a new, more affordable smartphone product line. I know this is something many of you have been wanting for a long time.

Never Settle has always been at the core of OnePlus. For more than 6 years, that has meant working hard to always deliver the best experience for flagship smartphone users. However, as we’ve grown together with our community, we know that there are many people who want a really solid smartphone that meets their everyday needs, and for a more accessible price.”

OnePlus Z smartphone will be launched in India in July. It could be priced below Rs 30,000.
