Along with Oppo N3, Oppo has also launched Oppo R5. Oppo R5 is just 4.85 mm thick and with this slimmer design it has become world’s slimmest smartphone.
Earlier Gionee S5.5 was World’s slimmest phone later Gionee itself broke its record with Gionee Elife S5.1 with 5.1 mm thickness. But Now Oppo R5 has taken the crown of world’s simmest smartphone with just 4.85 mm thickness.
Oppo R5 features a 5.2 inch Full HD LTPS Display with 1920×1080 pixel resolution which have pixel density of 423ppi. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Oppo R5 runs on 1.5 GHz Octa core Qualcomm SnapDragon 615 with 2GB RAM.
For graphics Oppo R5 has Adreno 330 GPU. It has 16 GB internal memory which can be expanded upto 128 GB using MicroSD Card.
Oppo R5 comes with 13 megapixel Sony Exmor IMX214 BSI sensor rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, it has 5 megapixel f/2.0 front camera.
Oppo R5 connectivity options include LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth and Micro-USB. To attain the slimmer design, Oppo R5 doesn’t come with 3.5mm Audio Jack. Instead it comes with USB earphones. Oppo is also giving USB-to-3.5mm Audio Adaptor with Oppo R5 so that your headphone with 3.5 mm jack can work with Oppo R5.
Oppo R5 runs on ColorOS 2.0 which is based on Android 4.4 kitkat. It has 2,000 mAh battery with VOOC technology which provides faster charging. It can charge upto 75% in 30 minutes.
