Samsung has quietly launched its thinnest smartphone Samsung Galaxy A7 SM-A700F in India. It is listed on Samsung India eStore for Rs. 30,499. It is the third smartphone in the metal clad Galaxy A series. Galaxy A7 was announced last month and now it is launched in India.
Samsung Galaxy A7 is just 6.3 mm thick which makes it thinnest smartphone from Samsung portfolio. Samsung Galaxy A7 sports a metallic unibody design. Last month Samsung has launched Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 in India for Rs. 25,500 and Rs. 20,500 respectively.
Samsung Galaxy A7 SM-A700F features a 5.5 inch Full HD (1080×1920 pixels) Super AMOLED Display. It is powered by a Octa core (Quad A53 1.5GHz + Quad A53 1.0GHz) Snapdragon 615 Processor with 2 GB RAM.
It comes with a 13 megapixel Autofocus rear camera with LED Flash. For selfies, it comes with a 5 megapixel front camera. It comes with 16 GB on-board storage which can be further expanded up to 64 GB using MicroSD Card.
Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS/AGPS, NFC, GLONASS, Bluetooth and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,600 mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy A7 runs on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat. It comes with Ultra Power Saving Mode and Changeable Theme features.
