Samsung has launched a new smartphone under its A series in India called Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018). The device is launched in the country with a price tag of Rs. 32,990. It will remain Amazon exclusive device in the country. It comes with 6GB RAM and will go on sale from 20 January.
Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018) features a 6 inch Full HD+ (2220 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by a 2.2GHz Octa Core Exynos 7885 Processor coupled with 4GB/6GB of RAM. For graphics, it comes with Mali G71 GPU.
Galaxy A8 Plus 2018 comes with a 16 Megapixel Autofocus rear camera with LED Flash and OIS. For selfies, it comes with a 16 Megapixel primary and 8 Megapixel secondary front camera. It comes with 32GB/64GB on-board storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB using MicroSD Card.
Its connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, 3G, HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth and USB Type-C. It packs a 3,500 mAh battery. It comes with fingerprint sensor on its back side.
Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018) runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. It is dust and water resistant smartphone with IP68 rating.
