Samsung will always be in the news due to their vast range of product lineup. A few months back, it was reported that Samsung is working on two new smartphones, dubbed as the Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro (SM-C5010) and Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro (SM-C7010) mid-range smartphones.
Till date, we haven’t seen any rumors regarding the Galaxy C5 Pro, but the C7 Pro visited AnTuTu benchmark website nearly a month ago. However, there’s news to cheer for Samsung lovers as both the phones got certified from TENAA, the Chinese certification site.
Along with the certification, the website also revealed the specifications of both the phones along with their images. Going by the pictures, both the C5 Pro and C7 Pro features similar design language that is almost same as the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime and both of them feature unimetal body design.
It is worth noticing that both the phones differ only regarding screen size and battery capacity because they feature almost similar specs. At heart, both the C5 Pro and C7 Pro will be powered by the 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 626, coupled with Adreno 506 GPU and 4GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and the storage can be further expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. They will feature a fingerprint sensor placed on the home button, a typical Samsung design and they boot Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow when released.
A 16MP rear-facing camera along with a 16MP front-facing camera can be seen on both the phones. Although, this information was confirmed for only C7 Pro and there are no details regarding the camera specs of C5 Pro.
Speaking about the unique character of each phone, the Galaxy C5 Pro will feature a 5.2-inch display, whereas the Galaxy C7 Pro will come with a 5.7-inch display. The resolution of these displays is Full HD one. The Galaxy C5 Pro features a 3000mAh battery, and the Galaxy C7 Pro will come with a 3300mAh battery.
The phones might be announced in the second week of January alongside the Galaxy A 2017 series of smartphones.
