Samsung is looking to start the year 2017 on a positive note. After a couple of announcements at the CES 2017 event, the South Korean company is now looking to bring their Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro smartphone to India by the end of January.
According to Gear by MySmartPrice, Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy C9 Pro in India along with the Gear S3 smartwatch. Though the launch date of Gear S3 smartwatch revealed as January 10, there are no details regarding other the Galaxy C9 Pro official launch date.

There are many firsts with the Galaxy C9 Pro smartphone. It is the company’s first smartphone to feature 6GB of RAM and USB Type-C port as well. Diving into the specifications of the Galaxy C9 Pro, it comes with a massive 6-inch 1080p AMOLED display and also comes featured with two stereo speakers to provide better audio output.
Under-the-hood, the C9 Pro has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 chipset and 6GB of RAM. And, as previously seen on other Samsung smartphones, the fingerprint sensor is embedded into the home button itself.
The Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro features a 16MP rear camera and 16MP front-facing camera. The 16MP rear camera comes with support for PDAF, f/1.9 aperture, and a LED flashlight as well. The 16MP front-facing camera also features a f/1.9 aperture.
Battery wise, the Galaxy C9 Pro features a 4000mAh battery that can charge faster with the help of adaptive fast charging technology. As said earlier, the launch details and pricing of the phone are yet to be revealed, but it will be priced under Rs. 35,000 to make it a direct competitor to the OnePlus 3T.
