After launching the new Galaxy E series in India, Samsung has launched Galaxy J series in Malaysia. The first smartphone in Galaxy J series is Samsung Galaxy J1 SM-J100H. The Galaxy J1 is listed on Samsung Malaysia Website.
Samsung Galaxy J series will be low cost series of smartphones. Samsung has not revealed the price of the Samsung Galaxy J1 but it looking at its specifications, it will be priced below $100.
Samsung Galaxy J1 sports a 4.3 inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) TFT Display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor with 512 MB of RAM.
Samsung Galaxy J1 SM-J100H features a 5 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. It also features a 2 megapixel front camera. It comes with 4 GB on-board storage which can be expanded upto 128GB using MicroSD Card.
Samsung Galaxy J1 SM-J100H connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, WLAN, GPS/AGPS, Micro USB, and Bluetooth. It packs a 1,850 mAh battery which gives 10 hours of talktime on 3G network.
Samsung Galaxy J1 SM-J100H runs on Android Kitkat 4.4.2. It is a dual sim smartphone with dual standby.
