Samsung has started rolling out Android 6 Marshmallow for this year’s Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) smartphone. The update is rolling out to users in select countries. It might be expanded to other countries soon.

The Android 6 Marshmallow update for Samsung Galaxy J7 6 brings usual TouchWiz UI changes. The update also brings new features like Doze Mode, App permissions and other new features.

Recently the company launched the new Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) in India for Rs. 15,990. The company has launched the degraded variant of the smartphone in India compared to Chinese variant.

Samsung Galaxy J7 6 features a 5.5 inch HD ( 720×1280 pixels) Super AMOLED Display. It is powered by a 1.6 GHz Octa core Exynos 7870 Processor with 2GB RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Mali GPU.

Galaxy J7 (2016) smartphone comes with a 13 Megapixel Autofocus rear camera with LED Flash. For selfies, it comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera with a LED flash. It comes with 16GB on-board storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB using MicroSD Card.

So you can now update your Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) to latest Android 6 Marshmallow. The update might be rolled to all devices soon.
