Last Week Samsung has launched Samsung Galaxy Note Edge in India for Rs. 64,900. Now Galaxy Note Edge can be pre-ordered from several online stores.
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is up for pre order on Amazon India, Infibeam and Flipkart. The Curved screen Galaxy Note Edge will go on sale in India from 5th January 2015.
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge features a unique two sided screen. The curved screen on the right side is used to show notifications. By default it shows time and date. It can be also used to launch apps from folders and apps icons.
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge sports a 5.6 Quad HD+(2560×1600 pixels) Super AMOLED display at 515 ppi, which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 2.7 GHz quad core Snapdragon 805 processor with 3 GB of RAM. For graphics it has Adreno 420 GPU.
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge SM-N915 comes in 16/32GB internal storage options which can be expanded upto 128 GB using MicroSD card.
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge features a 16 Megapixel Auto Focus rear camera with optical image stabilization. For selfies, it comes with a 3.7 megapixel front camera.
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge connectivity options includes Advanced LTE and Wi-Fi MIMO (802.11ac), USB, Bluetooth, 3G, NFC , Infrared, Micro-USB, A-GPS, GLONASS, and IR Remote. The device packs a 3,000 mAh battery with fast charging mode.
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge runs on Android Kitkat 4.4.2 with a layer of ToucWiz UI. It comes with private mode/ kids mode, Ultra Power Saving Mode features. It also comes with improved S Pen which is main USP of Galaxy Note series.
