Samsung has launched new Galaxy On series of smartphones in India. The first smartphone under the new series is Samsung Galaxy On5. The smartphone is launched in India for Rs. 8,990 on Flipkart.
Samsung Galaxy On5 features a 5 inch HD ( 720×1280 pixels) TFT Display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad core Exynos 3475 Processor with 1.5GB RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Mali T720MP2 GPU.
Galaxy On5 smartphone comes with a 8 Megapixel Autofocus rear camera with LED Flash. For selfies, it comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera with a LED flash. It comes with 8GB on-board storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB using MicroSD Card.
Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS/AGPS, NFC, GLONASS, Bluetooth and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,600 mAh battery which offers 15 hours of talktime on 3G network.
Samsung Galaxy On5 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It is dual sim device with dual standby support.
