Samsung has launched Active variant of Galaxy S6. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active is dust and water proof device with IP68 rating. It is launched exclusively in US on AT&T network.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Active is launched for $694.99 (Rs. 44,200) without contract. The smartphone can also be purchased via monthly installments.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Active flaunts a 5.1 inch Quad HD (1440×2560 pixels) Super AMOLED Display at 577 ppi. It is powered by a 64-bit Octa-core (2.1 GHz Quad-core + 1.5 GHz Quad-core) Exynos 7420 Processor with 3 GB of RAM. For Graphics it has a Mali-T760 GPU.
It comes with a 16 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, It comes with 5 Megapixel front camera. It comes in 32GB, 64 GB and 128 GB on-board storage options. It doesn’t come with an option to expand its storage.
Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, NFC, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 3,500 mAh battery with Ultra Power Saving mode and fast charging support.
