Samsung had launched the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge during MWC this month. Now Samsung is all set to launch Galaxy S6 and its edge version in India.
Samsung has started sending out media invites for the launch event. The event will take place on 23 March in India. Samsung will announce the Samsung Galaxy S6 price in India and Galaxy S6 Edge price in India.
Both the devices will not go on sale in India until April. During the launch event, Samsung has announced that both devices will go on sale from 10 April Globally.
Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge have identical specs, only difference is the Edge have dual Edged screen which shows notifications.
Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge flaunts a 5.1 inch Quad HD (1440×2560 pixels) Super AMOLED Display at 577 ppi. It is powered by a 64-bit Exynos Octa-core (2.1 GHz Quad-core + 1.5 GHz Quad-core) Processor with 3 GB of RAM. For Graphics it has a Mali-T760 GPU.
It comes with a 16 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, It comes with 5 Megapixel front camera. It comes in 32GB, 64 GB and 128 GB on-board storage options.
Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, NFC, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,600 mAh battery.
It runs on latest Android 5.0.1 Lollipop with a layer of TouchWiz UI.
Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge launch date in India is 23 March and they will go on sale from 10 April.
