Samsung has launched an active variant of its flagship smartphone, Samsung Galaxy S8 Active. The rugged smartphone has been announced in USA, it will be available via AT&T.
The device is a Shock, Water, Dust, shatter resistant body. Samsung Galaxy S8 Active comes with 4,000mAh battery instead of 3000mAh battery found in normal version. It has bumper around the body.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Active flaunts a 5.8 inch Quad HD+ (1440 x 2960 pixels) Super AMOLED Display at 570ppi. Its screen is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by a 64-bit Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Processor with 4GB of RAM. For graphics its comes with Adreno 540 GPU
Galaxy S8 Active comes with a 12 Megapixel Dual Pixel camera with Dual LED flash. For selfies, It comes with 8 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 64GB internal storage, which can be expanded upto 200GB.
Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, NFC, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 4,000mAh battery which comes with fast charging support and wireless charging support. It comes with fingerprint sensor on its back side.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Active runs on latest Android 7 Nougat with a layer of TouchWiz UI. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support. It is water and dust resistant with IP68 certification.
