Samsung is all set to launch its latest set of flagship smartphones, Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ in India soon. The smartphones were announced last month at its unpacked event. Now the phones will be launched in the country.
It will be launched next week. Samsung Galaxy S8 will be priced above Rs. 50,000, while the S8+ will be priced above Rs. 55,000. The smartphones will go on sale next month. In India the company will launch exynos variant.
Samsung Galaxy S8 flaunts a 5.8 inch Quad HD+ (1440 x 2960 pixels) Super AMOLED Infinity Display at 570ppi. Its screen is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It comes in 4GB/6GB RAM options.
Samsung Galaxy S8 comes in two variants, one is powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC and other with company’s home grown Exynos SoC. It is powered by a 64-bit Octa-core Exynos 9 8895 Processor with Mali-G71 MP20 GPU. The another variant is powered by a 64-bit Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Processor with Adreno 540 GPU.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus flaunts a 6.2 inch Quad HD+ (1440 x 2960 pixels) Super AMOLED Infinity Display at 570ppi. Its screen is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It comes in 4GB/6GB RAM options. It packs 3,500mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will be launched in India on 19 April.
