The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ have been in the news for a long time now, and today, we have the final and full list of specifications of the phones, which are scheduled to launch on March 29.
According to a recent report, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ will pack groundbreaking specifications, and they will be the best Samsung Galaxies ever, making the customers forget about the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco.
The report cites that the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ will pack unusual display resolution of 2960*1440 along with aspect ratio 18:5:9. As seen on earlier reports, the Galaxy S8 will sport a 5.8-inch display, whereas the Galaxy S8+ will ship with a 6.2-inch display.
The Galaxy S8 and S8+ will be powered by the Snapdragon 835 SoC in some markets such as the US and South Korea. And in some markets such as Europe and India, Samsung will launch the Exynos 8895 variant of the phone. Both the phones will come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Samsung will also include a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion.
Both the phones will pack a 12MP rear camera with f/1.7 aperture and 1.4µm pixel size, which will result in faster image capture. Also, the camera will have the capability of recording 4K videos and also come with laser autofocus and PDAF. The phones will pack an 8MP front-facing sensor.
The Galaxy S8 will be backed by a 3000mAh non-removable battery, and the S8+ will get a 3500mAh battery, and both will boot Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. Both the phones will come with IRIS scanner and fingerprint sensor.
