Samsung announced the Galaxy Grand 2 in India some days back, now samsung has started taking pre-bookings for the phone. Samsung is taking Rs 2,000 as booking amount for Galaxy Grand 2, buyers will have to pay the rest of the amount when it will be available in the market. The company is yet to announce the phone’s price. The Galaxy Grand 2 will hit the shelves in January and is expected to be priced somewhere between Rs 22,990 and Rs 24,990.
Galaxy Grand 2 is the successor of the Galaxy Grand which was launched early this year and became a popular option among those looking for a mid-range smartphone with bigger display and premium-smartphone like features. The Galaxy Grand 2 has a 5.25-inch 720p display, It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage and up to 64GB microSD card support. The phone dons an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera.
Galaxy grand 2 runs on Android 4.2 jelly bean, it will also include some Samsung apps which were integrated in its flagship Galaxy S4. It also include samsung store.
Connectivity options include 3G (HSDPA+), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB 2.0. It has 2,600mAh battery which offer up to 17 hours of talk time. In terms of colors, Samsung has also announced it will introduce the pink variant of the phone, along with the white and black one.
