Samsung has launched a new Tizen OS based smartphone in India called Samsung Z2. The smartphone is launched in India at Rs. 4,590. It will go on sale in India from 29 August.
The new Tizen OS based smartphone comes with 4G LTE connectivity. Samsung Z2 comes with S Bike mode, Ultra power savings mode and other new features.
Samsung Z2 sports a 4 inch WVGA(800 x 480 pixels) TFT Display. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz Quad-core Spreadtrum processor with 1GB of RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Mali 400 GPU.
Samsung Z2 features a 5 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash. It also features a 0.3 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 8GB on-board storage which can be expanded upto 128GB using MicroSD Card.
Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, WLAN, GPS/AGPS, Micro USB, and Bluetooth. It packs a 2,500 mAh battery with ultra power saving mode.
Samsung Z2 runs on Tizen OS 2.4. It is a dual sim smartphone with dual standby.
