Earlier this month, Sony had announced its next flagship smartphone Sony Xperia Z3. Sony had also announced its compact version, Xperia Z3 Compact. Now Sony is all set to launch both the devices in Indian market. Last week Sony had also launched Sony Xperia E3 in India.
Back in May, Sony had launched the Xperia Z2 in India for Rs. 49,900. This time Sony is launching next flagship in just four months.
Sony has started sending out media invite for the event on 25 September. The invite comes with #DemandGreat hashtag which is official hashtag for Xperia Z3. The invite also reads ” The Time to demand great is coming“. So all these indicates that Sony will unveil Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact.
Sony Xperia Z3
Sony Xperia Z3 features a 5.2 inch Full HD Triluminos Display with Live Colour LED powered by X-Reality engine with 1080×1920 resolution. It runs on 2.5 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 Processor with 3 GB of RAM. For Graphics it has Adreno 330 GPU. It comes with 16GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 128 GB using MicroSD card.
Sony Xperia Z3 features an 20.7 Megapixel Exmos RS rear camera with LED flash. Its rear camera comes with autofocus, auto scene recognition, HDR, time-shift burst, picture effect and social live features, the camera can take 4K videos. It also has 2.2 MP front camera.
Sony Xperia Z3 has connectivity options includes 4G, LTE, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth, DLNA and Micro-USB. It has 3,100mAh battery with STAMINA mode.
Sony Xperia Z3 runs on Android 4.4 kitkat. Sony Xperia Z3 is dust and waterproof device with IP65/68 certification.

Sony Xperia Z3 Compact features a 4.6 inch HD Triluminos Display with 720×1280 resolution. It runs on 2.5 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 Processor with 2 GB of RAM. While its not clear whether Sony will launch Sony Xperia Z3 tablet Compact on 25 September or not. The pricing of devices are also unknown at the moment. But Xperia Z3 is available for EUR 649(Rs. 51,500) and Xperia Z3 Compact is available for EUR 499(Rs. 39,600) in many European countries. So they will be launched around the same price tag.
So, lets wait for the official announcement from Sony.
