Sony has sent out media invites for a launch event in India on 26 May. The company has not revealed which device will be announced in India, but it is expected to launch Sony Xperia M4 Aqua in India.
Sony Xperia M4 Aqua was announced in March this year. It is a water proof device. The invite which Sony has sent out, shows that water proof device will be launched in India.
Mumbai based retailer, Mahesh Telecom, has revealed that the company will launch the Sony Xperia M4 Aqua in India on 26 May. Sony might also launch other devices in India.
Sony Xperia M4 Aqua sports a 5 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS Display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 64 bit Octa core (Quad-core 1.5 GHz + Quad core 1.0 GHz) Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Processor with 2GB of RAM. For graphics it has a Adreno 405 GPU.
Xperia M4 Aqua features a 13 Megapixel with LED flash. For selfies, It comes with a 5 Megapixel front facing camera. It comes with 16GB inbuilt storage which can be expanded upto 128 GB via MicroSD card.
Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth, DLNA and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,400 mAh battery which offers 13 hours of talktime and 779 hours of standby time.
Sony Xperia M4 Aqua runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop. It is dust and waterproof device with IP65/68 certification.
