Xiaomi has introduced Xiaomi Redmi 2 in Dark Grey color in India. The smartphone in Grey color will be available on Snapdeal from 25 May. It will be sold in India for Rs. 6,999.
Xiaomi RedMi 2 was launched in India in March for Rs. 6,999. It was launched in white color only. Now company will start selling the Dark Grey color in India via flash sale. The first flash sale will take place tomorrow at 12 PM. Registrations for the flash is now open on Snapdeal.
Xiaomi RedMi 2 sports a 4.7 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS Display at 312ppi. It is powered by a 64 bit 1.2 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Processor with 1GB of RAM. For graphics it has a Adreno 306 GPU.
The Second Gen RedMi comes with a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. It also has a 2 megapixel front camera. It comes with 8 GB in-built storage which can be expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD card.
Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,200 mAh Battery. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support. It runs on Android 4.4 optimized with MIUI 6.
Xiaomi RedMi 2 price in India is Rs. 6,999. It comes in Aqua White and Dark Grey colors.
