Sony has launched ground breaking smartphone with mind-blowing specifications in India. The company has launched its almost flagship smartphone, Sony Xperia XZ2 in India. Mind the flagship smartphone is Xperia XZ2 Premium, however that is not launched in the country.
The new six month old smartphone, Sony Xperia XZ2 is launched at a very competitive price of Rs. 72,990. Considering the specs of the phone, the price is very low. It was announced in Feb during MWC.
Now let’s have a look at its specs. Dual rear camera and 8GB RAM may a norm for flagship smartphones but Sony choose to launch the phone with single 19MP camera and 6GB of RAM. Also the front camera is very good with 5 MP sensor.
Sony Xperia XZ2 sports a 5.7 inch Full HD+ (2160 X 1080 pixels) 18:9 Triluminos HDR Display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by a 64 bit Octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Processor with 6GB of RAM. For Graphics it has a Adreno 630 GPU.
Xperia XZ2 comes with a 19 Megapixel Sony Exmos RS sensor rear camera with Dual LED flash. For selfies, It comes with a 5 Megapixel Exmor RS sensor super wide front camera. It comes with 64GB in-built storage which can be expanded upto 400GB using MicroSD card.
Its connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and USB Type-C. It packs a 3,180 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. The device comes with fingerprint sensor on its back side.
Sony Xperia XZ2 runs on Android 8 Oreo. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
