As expected, Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has launched its new smartphone, Vivo V9 in India. The device is launched in India with a price tag of Rs. 22,990. It comes with 24 Megapixel front camera and has 19:9 screen with a notch. It will go on sale from 2nd April via Flipkart, Amazon and offline retail stores.
Vivo V9 features a 6.3 inch Full HD+ (2280 x 1080 pixels) 19:9 FullView 2.5D curved Display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 64-bit 2.2GHz Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 Processor with 4GB of RAM. For graphics it comes with a Adreno 506 GPU.
Vivo V9 has dual camera setup, it has 16 Megapixel primary and 5 megapixel secondary rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, It comes with 24 Megapixel front camera with LED flash. It comes with 64GB internal storage, which can be expanded upto 256GB.
Its connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 3,260 mAh battery which comes with fast charging support. It comes with Fingerprint sensor on its back side. It also comes with Face Unlock feature.
Vivo V9 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with a layer of Funtouch OS 4 UI. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
