Vivo, of late, has been focusing on the selfie-centric smartphones and recently, the company unveiled the industry’s first front-facing dual camera smartphone, the Vivo V5 Plus and now, the company is back with yet another smartphone, namely, the Vivo Y55s. This time around, Vivo is not going with the selfie smartphone moniker for the Vivo Y55s.

The Vivo Y55s comes with a 5.2-inch display with a resolution of 720*1280 pixels and has a 2.5D curved glass, which makes the smartphone look classy. At the heart of the phone is a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 SoC aided with 3GB of RAM and Adreno 308 GPU to take care of graphics. The phone comes with internal storage of 16GB, whereas the storage can be further expanded up to 256GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.

The Vivo Y55s has several connectivity options including the 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11/b/g/n, Bluetooth, and an aided GPS for location tracking. The phone boots Android Marshmallow based Funtouch OS 3.0.

Vivo has integrated a 13MP rear camera module that has support for a LED flashlight. That said, there’s also a 5MP front-facing camera, which interestingly also comes with support for LED flash. The Vivo Y55s is the successor to last year’s Vivo Y55L and has got upgrades in every aspect.

The Vivo Y55s will be made available in Crown Gold and Space Grey color options from February 26.
