Xiaomi has launched its flagship smartphone, Xiaomi Mi 5 in India. The smartphone is launched in India at Rs. 24,999. The company has launched it with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage.
Xiaomi Mi 5 will go on sale in India via flash sale model. The first flash sale will take place on 6th April. Pre-registrations for the first flash sale will start soon.
Xiaomi has not launched the Xiaomi Mi 5 pro model in India. The company has launched the smartphone with 32GB storage only, 64GB and 128GB models are not launched in India.
Xiaomi Mi 5 features a 5.15 inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS Display with a pixel density of 428ppi. It is powered by a 1.8GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Processor with 3GB RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Adreno 530 GPU.
Xiaomi Mi5 comes with a 16 Megapixel rear camera with Dual-tone LED flash and Phase Detection AutoFocus. For selfies, it comes with a 4 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 32GB inbuilt storage, which cannot be expanded.
Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, NFC, Wi-Fi Direct WLAN, Bluetooth, USB Type-C and Micro-USB. It packs a 3,000 mAh Battery with Fast Charging. It comes with Fingerprint sensor under its home button.
Xiaomi Mi 5 runs on Android 6 Lollipop with MIUI 7. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
