Xiaomi will launch its flagship smartphone, Xiaomi Mi 5 and Xiaomi Mi 5 Pro in India today. The smartphone will be unveiled at an event in New Delhi today. The event will start at 3P and select media will witness the event.
Xiaomi will announce the availability and pricing of the Mi 5. The phone is expected to be priced around Rs. 23,000 for the base model. The smartphone will be sold via flash sale model.
Xiaomi will also live stream the event on its website. Mi fans who wish to watch the event, can watch it on their pc or smartphone at 3PM today. The Xiaomi Mi5 launch event will start at 3PM.
Xiaomi Mi 5 features a 5.15 inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS Display with a pixel density of 428ppi. It is powered by a 1.8GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Processor with 3GB/4GB RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Adreno 530 GPU. It runs on Android 6 Lollipop with MIUI 7.
Xiaomi Mi5 comes with a 16 Megapixel rear camera with Dual-tone LED flash and Phase Detection AutoFocus. For selfies, it comes with a 4 Megapixel front camera. It comes in 32GB/64GB/128GB inbuilt storage, which cannot be expanded. It packs a 3,000 mAh Battery with Fast Charging. It comes with Fingerprint sensor under its home button.
Xiaomi Mi 5 will be launched in India today at 3PM. Its price in India will be around Rs. 23,000.
