Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has launched yet another variant of Mi8 called as Xiaomi Mi 8 SE. It is the first device to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC. The Mi 8 SE has 6GB of RAM and has AI dual rear cameras. It will be available in China from 8 June with a price of 1799 Yuan.
Xiaomi Mi 8 SE sports a 5.88 inch Full HD+ (2244 x 1080 pixels) 18:7:9 AMOLED 2.5D Display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by a 64 bit 2.2GHz Octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 Processor with 4GB/6GB of RAM. For Graphics it has a Adreno 616 GPU.
Xiaomi Mi8 SE comes with dual camera setup. It comes with 12 Megapixel primary and 5 Megapixel secondary rear camera with Dual LED flash, and EIS. For selfies, It comes with a 20 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 64GB in-built storage, which cannot be expanded.
Its connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and USB Type-C. It packs a 3,120 mAh battery with Quick Charge. It comes with Fingerprint sensor on its back side.
Xiaomi Mi 8 SE runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with a layer of MIUI 9, upgradable to MIUI 10. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
