Xiaomi is all set to launch a new budget smartphone in China called Xiaomi Redmi 3. The company will launch the new smartphone on 12 January. Xiaomi is teasing key specs of the device ahead of official launch.
The Chinese company have confirmed on weibo that the Xiaomi RedMi 3 will come with bigger 4,100 mAh battery. It will also come with Dual Sim support and expandable storage upto 128GB.
It will also come with diamond like pattern on its back side. Xiaomi claims that Xiaomi Redmi 3 will have 4,000 diamond pattern on the back side of the device. It will come in Metallic body.
Earlier the Xiaomi RedMi 3 was certified by the Chinese Authority, TENAA, which reveals other features of the device. It is expected to come with 5 inch HD screen.
Xiaomi RedMi 3 features a 5 inch HD(1280 x 720 pixels) IPS Display. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz Octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 Processor with 2GB of RAM. For graphics it has a Adreno 405 GPU. It runs on MIUI 7 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
RedMi 3 comes with a 13 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, It comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera. It comes with a 16GB on board storage which can be further expanded upto 128GB using MicroSD card. It packs a 4,100 mAh battery.
Xiaomi RedMi 3 will be launched in China on 12 January. There is no word about its price and global availability.
