As expected, Xiaomi has launched its new budget smartphone in China called Xiaomi RedMi 3. The smartphone comes with Metallic body and is priced at $106. It comes with star pattern design on its back side.
Xiaomi Redmi 3 global availability details are unknown but being a budget smartphone, it might be launched in India soon. But don’t it to be launched in India anytime soon.
Xiaomi RedMi 3 features a 5 inch HD(1280 x 720 pixels) IPS Display at 267ppi. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz Octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 Processor with 2GB of RAM. For graphics it has a Adreno 405 GPU.
RedMi 3 comes with a 13 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash and PDAF. For selfies, It comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera. It comes with a 16 GB on board storage which can be further expanded upto 128GB using MicroSD card.
Its connectivity options include 4G, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 4,100 mAh Battery.
Xiaomi RedMi 3 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with MIUI 7. It comes with Hybrid Dual sim slot, at a time it can be used as expansions slot or second sim slot.

Xiaomi Redmi 3 price in China is 699 Yuan ($106/Rs. 7,048). It comes in Dark Grey, Silver, Gold and Classic Gold colors. It will go on sale in China from 12 January.
