Xiaomi has launched a new Redmi smartphone in India called Xiaomi Redmi 4. The company has launched the smartphone in India with a price tag of Rs. 6,999. It will be available via Amazon. It is powered by SD 435 SoC.
The company has launched the smartphone with Snapdragon 435 SoC. Xiaomi Redmi 4 was announced in China with SD 430 Quad Core processor, but in India the company has upgraded to Octa Core Processor.
Xiaomi Redmi 4 features a 5 inch HD ( 720×1280 pixels) 2.5D curved glass Display. It is powered by a 1.4GHz Octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 Processor with 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Adreno 505 GPU.
Redmi 4 comes with a 13 Megapixel Autofocus rear camera with LED Flash and PDAF. For selfies, it comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 16GB/32GB/64GB on-board storage options which can be further expanded up to 128GB using MicroSD Card.
Its connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, 3G, HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, NFC, GLONASS, Bluetooth, Infrared sensor and Micro-USB. It packs a 4,100mAh battery which offers 36 hours of talktime on 3G network and 18 days of standby time. It comes with Fingerprint sensor on its back side.
Xiaomi Redmi 4 runs on Android 7 Nougat based on MIUI 8, the company is offering Android 7 Nougat Preview. It is dual sim(LTE+LTE) device with dual standby support, it has hybrid dual sim slot.
