Xiaomi has launched a new budget smartphone in India. The company has launched Xiaomi Redmi 8A in India. It is launched with a starting price of Rs. 6,499. Redmi 8A comes in 2GB and 3GB RAM options.
Xiaomi Redmi 8A features a 6.2 inch HD+ (720 × 1520 pixels) 199:9 2.5D curved glass Display. It is powered by a 1.95GHz Octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 439Processor with 2GB/3GB RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Adreno 505 GPU.
Redmi 8A comes with a 12 Megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and PDAF. For selfies, it comes with a 8 Megapixel front camera. It comes in 32GB on-board storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB using MicroSD Card.
Its connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, 3G, HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, NFC, GLONASS, Bluetooth, Infrared sensor and Micro-USB. It packs a 5,000mAh battery. It has fingerprint sensor on its back side.
Xiaomi Redmi 8A runs on Android 9 Pie based on MIUI. It is dual sim device with dual standby support, it has dedicated dual sim slot.
