The day is finally here. Xiaomi after launching the Redmi Note 4 more than a month ago is finally offering the Matte Black variant of the phone in today’ sale on Flipkart and Mi.com. Xiaomi earlier confirmed the same on their Twitter handle and the phone will be available at 12 PM today via the flash sale. So, there’s little chance that everyone will get the phone.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, which is the successor to last year’s Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 has been a good phone with minor improvements over its predecessor. The Note 4 will also be available in three other colors: gold, space gray, and silver as it was available in previous flash sales. That said, the Matte Black variant will be available only in highest configuration variant of the phone, i.e., 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage variant priced at Rs. 12,999.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 boasts of a 5.5-inch display with a 2.5D curved glass and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC aided with 2GB/3GB/4GB of RAM. The phone comes in two storage options; 32GB and 64GB. The graphic intensive tasks in the phone will be taken care by Adreno 306 GPU.
At the rear of the phone, we have a fingerprint sensor along with a 13MP camera module with support for PDAF, and dual tone LED flash. Also, the phone comes with a 5MP front-facing camera. The phone boots Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based MIUI 8 and comes with a beefy 4100mAh battery that can run up to two days on a single charge.
As said earlier, the Redmi Note 4 will be available in only flash sales and the company has not yet revealed the date for open sale.
