At the time of its official launch on January 19, Xiaomi’s Global VP, Hugo Barra surprised everyone by unveiling a new ‘Matte Black’ variant of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. However, the company did not reveal any exact date on when the product will be made available for purchase.
Here comes the much-awaited news for many people out there. Yes, at the Mi Home Pop Up event in Hyderabad, a couple of days ago, Jai Mani, Lead Product Manager, Mi India confirmed that the Matte Black variant of the phone will be available for purchase by the end of this month. So, that’s some exciting news for the fans out there.

Xiaomi already has conducted three flash sales till date for the Redmi Note 4 via Flipkart in India and the phone is selling like a hot cake till date. Xiaomi has sold over 2.5 lakh units in the first sale.
On January 19, the Chinese firm launched the Note 4 with impressive specs at and affordable price tag. The Redmi Note 4 boasts of a 5.5-inch FHD screen, clubbed with Snapdragon 625 SoC and 2GB/3GB/4GB of RAM. Also, the base variant of the phone now comes with 32GB of internal storage. Battery wise, the phone packs a 4100mAh Li-Po battery that can run up to two days with heavy usage.
