Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is working on the successor of its Redmi Note series. The company will officially launch the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 soon. Ahead of official launch, the device has been certified in China by TENAA.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5The listing on Chinese certification website reveals the look and specs of upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 5. The device will come with Full HD+ Full Screen display. It will come with 4GB of RAM and 4,000mAh battery.

Xiaomi RedMi Note 5 features a 5.99 inch Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) IPS 2.5D curved Display. It is powered by a 2GHz Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor with 3GB/4GB RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Adreno GPU.

RedMi Note 5 comes with a 12 Megapixel rear camera with Dual-tone LED flash and Phase Detection AutoFocus. For selfies, it comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera. It comes in 32GB and 64GB inbuilt storage options, which can be expanded upto 128GB.

Its connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, NFC, Wi-Fi Direct WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG and Micro-USB. It packs a 4,000 mAh Battery with Fast Charging. It comes with Fingerprint sensor on its back side.

Xiaomi RedMi Note 5 runs on Android 7 Nougat with MIUI 9. It has hybrid slot which can act as dual sim slot or expandable slot.
