Xiaomi RedMi Note, whose first flash sale in India was conducted today, goes out of stock in seconds. 50,000 units of RedMi Note went out of stock in 6 seconds.

Hugo Barra, VP of Xiaomi confirmed that Xiaomi RedMi Note went out of stock in just 6 seconds. Earlier, RedMi 1S and Mi3 also went out of stock in seconds in India. Priced at Rs. 8,999, Xiaomi RedMi Note will again go on sale in India on December 9, for which pre-registration will start from 6 PM today.
Xiaomi RedMi Note features a 5.5 inch HD(1280×720 pixels) IPS Display at 267ppi. It is powered by a 1.7 GHz octa core MediaTek MTK6592 Processor with 2GB of RAM. For graphics it has Mali 450 MP4 GPU.
Xiaomi RedMi Note comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. It also has a 5 megapixel front camera. It comes with a 8 GB on board storage which can be further expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD card.
Xiaomi RedMi Note connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG and Micro-USB. It packs a 3,100 mAh Battery. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
Xiaomi RedMi Note runs on Android 4.2 optimized with MIUI version 5.
