As announced earlier, Xolo has launched a new series of smartphones called Black. The first Xolo Black smartphone is launched in India for Rs. 12,999. It will be exclusively sold on online retailer Flipkart.
The main USP of Xolo Black is its camera. It comes with dual rear cameras and front facing camera with LED flash. The Main camera sensor is of 13 Megapixel while the secondary camera is of 2 MP which keeps track of depth information.
Xolo Black sports a 5.5 inch Full HD(1920×1080 pixels) IPS OGS Display which is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 64 bit 1.5 GHz Octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Processor with 2 GB of RAM. For graphics it has Adreno 405 GPU.
Black features a 13 Megapixel Purecel Sensor rear camera and a 2 Megapixel secondary rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, It features a 5 Megapixel front camera with LED flash. It comes with 16 GB on-board storage which can be expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD Card.
Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, WLAN, GPS/AGPS, Micro USB, and Bluetooth. It supports 1800MHz FDD-LTE bands and 2300MHZ TD-LTE bands. It packs a 3,200 mAh battery which gives 23.5 hours of talktime and 698.5 hours of standby time of 3G network.
Xolo Black runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with a layer of Hive Altas UI. It comes with hybrid dual sim slot. At a time the slot can be used as a MicroSD cart slot or secondary SIM card Slot.
