Along with Xolo Play 8x-1000, Xolo has also launched Xolo Play 8X-1200 and Xolo A1000s in India. Xolo Play 8x-1200 is launched for Rs. 19,999 while Xolo A1000s is launched for Rs. 7,799. The devices are not launched officially but listed on company website. While Play 8x-1000 runs on HIVE but Both of these devices runs on Android Kitkat out of the box.
Xolo Play 8X-1200
Xolo Play 8x-1200 features a 5 inch HD IPS OGS 1280×720 pixel resolution which has pixel density of 294ppi. It runs on 2 GHz Octa core MediaTek MT6592T Processor with 2GB RAM. For graphics it has Mali 450 GPU cloaked at 700MHz.
Xolo Play 8x-1200 comes with 13 megapixel PureCel sensor rear camera with dual LED flash. It also has 5 megapixel front camera with BSI sensor. It has 16 GB internal memory which can be expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD Card.
Xolo Play 8x-1200 has connectivity options like 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG and Micro-USB. It is a dual sim (GSM+GSM) device. It has 2,300 mAh Battery which gives 24 hours of talktime and 600 hours of standby time.
