Last week YU Televentures teased the launch of new flagship smartphone. Now the company has started sending out invites for an launch event on 19 May. The company will launch YU Yunicorn at the event next week.
As you can see in the invite above, the company clearly mentions that YU Yunicorn will be launched in India on 19 May. It is expected to be available via online retailer. But the company might bring the smartphone to offline stores as well.
There are no details about the upcoming smartphone, but earlier a smartphone with model number YU YU5530 appeared in the benchmark. It could be the same smartphone which YU is launching next week.
YU Yunicorn could be powered by a Helio X10 or Helio P10 Processor. The will have 4GB of RAM. The smartphone will run on stock Android instead of Cyanogen OS. We expect that it will runs on Android Marshmallow out of the box.
Yu Yunicorn will be launched in India next week on 19 May. Its price and specifications will be revealed on the launch event itself.
