YU televentures has reduced the price of YU Yuphoria in India. Along with price cut, the device now runs on Stock Android Lollipop instead of CyanogenOS.
Its price in India has been reduced by Rs. 500 and is now available for Rs. 6,499. It was launched in India May for Rs. 6,999. Earlier it comes with CyanogenOS but now the company has started shipping the device with stock Android.
Yu Yuphoria sports a 5 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS Display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 64 bit 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Processor with 2GB of RAM. For graphics it has a Adreno 306 GPU.
It comes with a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, it comes with a 5 megapixel wide-angle front camera. It comes with 16GB in-built storage which can be expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD card.
Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,230 mAh Battery which offers 7 hours of talktime and 160 hours of standby time on 3G network.
Yu Yuphoria runs on Stock Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
