Yu Televentures has announced that it will sell its smartphone Yu Yuphoria will be available via open sale. Until now the device was sold via flash sale model. But for a limited time the smartphone will sold openly.
Yu Yuphoria will be available via open sale from 21 July to 23 July. The company has kept 1 lakh devices for sale. The 100,000 units of Yuphoria are Made in India. It was launched in India in May for Rs. 6,999, it also comes in Gold color.
Yu Yuphoria sports a 5 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS Display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 64 bit 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Processor with 2GB of RAM. For graphics it has a Adreno 306 GPU.
It comes with a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, it comes with a 5 megapixel wide-angle front camera. It comes with 16GB in-built storage which can be expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD card.
Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,230 mAh Battery which offers 7 hours of talktime and 160 hours of standby time on 3G network.
Yu Yuphoria runs on Cyanogen OS 12 which is based on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
