Yu launched the Yu Yutopia earlier this month for Rs. 24,999. It was scheduled to go on sale in India from today but the device is not available via Amazon, its shipping date is now slipped by four days. The online retailer now lists the Yutopia availability date as 30 December.
Customers can still order the Yu Yutopia via Amazon India. The eCommerce website on the listing confirms that the stock will be available from 30 December.
Yu Yutopia YU5050 sports a 5.2 inch Quad HD (2560×1440 pixels) OGS Display which is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by a 64 bit 2GHz Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 Processor with 4GB of RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Adreno 430 GPU.
YUTOPIA comes with a 21 Megapixel Sony Exmor RS IMX230 rear camera with dual tone LED flash. For selfies, it comes with a 8 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 32GB in-built storage, which can be further expanded upto 200GB.
Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. It packs a 3,000 mAh battery which comes with Quick Charge 2.0. There is a fingerprint sensor on its back side.
Yu Yutopia runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based on CyanogenMod 12. It will be upgraded Android 6.0 Marshmallow based on CM13 soon.
