Coolpad has reduced the price of its budget smartphone, Coolpad Dazen 1 by Rs. 1000. It was launched in India last month for Rs. 6,999. Soon after the first flash sale the company had reduced its price to Rs. 5,999.
Coolpad Dazen 1 priced at Rs. 5,999, is now priced very competitively and it becomes the cheapest smartphone to boast 2GB RAM. The company has also release its black color variant in India.
Coolpad Dazen 1 sports a 5 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS Display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 64 bit 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Processor with 2GB of RAM. For graphics it has a Adreno 306 GPU.
Dazen 1 comes with a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, it comes with a 5 megapixel wide-angle front camera. It comes with 8GB in-built storage which can be expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD card.
Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,500 mAh Battery which offers 7 hours of talktime and 200 hours of standby time on 3G network. Dazen 1 runs on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat with a layer of Cool UI. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
